Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday ordered the conscription of 160,000 men by July 15, an increase from previous drafts as Moscow seeks to expand its military ranks.
Meat grinder. And many russians probably still think it’s for a “good cause” or some other convoluted propaganda narrative.
That they are having their children killed for nothing more than the greed of one psycopath is just disgusting.
Russian children are getting drilled for the military from a young age. They learn marching and practice with wooden rifle mockups from kindergarten onwards. The older generations are depoliticized from decades in the Soviet Union and the younger ones are thoroughly in the fascist mind machine now. Everyone inbetween has either left the country years ago, is in prison or too afraid to speak up.
Where have I seen this before, it’s been a while (like 85+ years ago) so my memory may not serve me well anymore.
