To be fair, this seems like something the KGB would release to destabilize the US. I somewhat believe it because of how closely Trump aligns himself with Putin and spreads Russian messaging. I still don’t know if I believe this particular person in this particular instance (in fact, I know I don’t trust them), but my trust doesn’t change if Trump actually is a Russian asset. He acts like one regardless.
If we’re really lucky, 2. If we take congress then they can at least limit his powers or, with a strong enough change, remove him from office. Now, if this happens I don’t expect him to actually accept it and there will still be a fight, but the only real factor that matters at that point is if the military sides with him or the constitution. Right now, he doesn’t have the military support to successfully perform a self coup.

Most Windows programs can run through WINE, and the ones that can’t can usually be run in a Windows virtual machine. Try a Bootable USB with the distro you might want (I personally recommend Garuda). You don’t need to commit right away, but I bet you’ll have an easier time than you expect.
Switch to Linux. KDE is pretty easy to customize out of the box. There’s other DEs that can have more or less, harder or easier options too, but KDE is probably the best moving from Windows.
There’s no reason to wait. You don’t need to buy the computer with the OS installed. Just install Linux now. They should be punished for forcing Windows 11 on you, not rewarded by you using it for a few more years.

I half suspect that this isn’t actually about it being “hard.” It’s to say they need more allowances. They’re saying them being “nice” with only their current resources isn’t getting the job done as an excuse to expand their scope and capabilities. This isn’t things getting better. This is the precursor to things getting much worse.
Yeah, as political compasses, in order to have some reasonableness, have left-right and authoritarian-libertarian, this needs another axis for bias. You can be a leftist organization that still reports on reality without bias. Being in favor of the status-quo is it’s own form of bias.
It’s really weird to me that my parents are from WV and learned about this in school, and they are largely anti-union. WV at large is mostly anti-union, but also pro-coal workers. Before the unions those jobs were absolutely horrible. I assume what they learned was mostly bullshit sadly.

I think I heard somewhere that free-range chickens actually are more likely to have bird flu, though this is thought to be because most of that is in California and migratory bird routes spreading it, or something like that.
