I still have to add ‘reddit’ to my searches when looking for niche issues, opinions, and reviews.
Would hope in the future I can add ‘lemmy’ instead and be rid of reddit for good
Nextcloud is a massive overkill for caldav. You can use something lightweight like Baikal.
I don’t think the code is available for people to figure out whether there’s a reason or if it’s completely arbitrary.
Sorry but the same article links to an update that backtracks.
There’s just no way this would ever pass without them losing all their business customers, any legality of such disclaimer aside.

Make sure the manufacturers warranty is solid.
Software-wise, I’ve not had any issues whatsoever.
Oh they want to, but i bet that shit’s so intertwined that removing old audio menu will make your display output stop working.
I love it and would hate to go back. You have a normal sized phone that can make various otherwise awkward activities on small factor quite comfortable unfolded: note taking, film watching, reading, Internet in general.

It literally replaced 3 other devices for me that I used to drag around to cafes, work and when travelling.
I considered this overpriced bs until I got to try my friends device. Now I just consider it overpriced.
Japanese isn’t widely adopted across the Internet as the default language, so this comparison is irrelevant.
I’m only familiar with Western Internet, but if you don’t understand English, you’re isolating yourself from large parts of the world.
There’s a lot of armchair experts on manufacturing here.
No it can’t be 3D printed, that will never beat injection molding in this use case.
You must be living on the moon if you think this can be made from ceramic/steel for $50.
Sorry but yall haven’t got a clue
