I really don’t care. If someone is going to cringe over something I wrote, that’s more of a ‘them’ problem than a ‘me’ problem.
I see what you’re getting at, but maybe broaden it to just their favorite book. I also certainly wouldn’t disqualify based on not having read books (sci-fi or otherwise), because maybe they read short stories online, or maybe comics or something similar.
Many social media influencers nowadays try to get big with the goal of “selling out”, or getting sponsored. From what I understand, ad revenue on its own hasn’t paid well for years, so they take on sponsors in order to fund their channels and pay their bills. You then have influencers like MrBeast and Logan Paul living large and shouting out their sponsors, making it look glamorous to their (often younger) audience.
At least Reddit had a nice feature where you could filter out up to 100 communities from r/all. I could still get a varied experience while not having to look at things like politics, sportsball, or games I didn’t care for.
Is your cousin not able to call his provider to find out?
Can confirm. English is my first language and I took German in high school; it was basically just memorization for which words get which.
I grew up in a conservative christian household. “The talk” basically amounted to “Keep it in your pants until you’re married. You can figure things out then.”
Best answer. The other 90GB is irrelevant.
There’s a local barcade that’s good times. You get to drink local craft brews and play arcade games and pinball. They had Time Crisis 2 last time I was there.
As far as light gun shooters, your best bet is probably VR. I can’t personally make any recommendations though, as I don’t have a headset.
It was certainly there, but more common in cooperative games. Also, Overwatch is/was particularly infamous for its toxic community. While I didn’t play them myself, I’ve heard a lot of stories from competitive games back in the day where you could host your own lobby. Being a shithead back then could get you banned from any number of private communities, so you needed good behavior if you didn’t want to be an outcast.
The onions do a pretty good job of deglazing as they release their liquid.
Definitely not a single-serving recipe, but my favorite is chili.
This was originally a recipe I found on chowhound, then modified it. I make this recipe in a 6qt slow cooker:
Brown chorizo and add to slow cooker. Brown ground beef and add to slow cooker. Dice onions and peppers, add to pan and let soften using the beef/chorizo fat, then add to slow cooker once beginning to caramelize. Puree or finely chop chipotle peppers and add to slow cooker. Add all canned items to slow cooker. Add garlic and spices to slow cooker. Stir to mix ingredients. Cook on low for 8 hrs or high for 4; 8 hrs is preferred, as chili benefits from longer cooking times for flavors to develop and meld.
Chili is a great recipe, now that we in the northern hemisphere are headed into winter. It’s also a great meal prep recipe, as 2nd day chili is better than 1st day IMO, it reheats well, and also freezes well.
Regardless of whether or not the tariff increases happen, Black Friday sales are going on right now, and depending on what stores are near you (namely Micro Center), you could find some good deals. Just make sure you check price history on anything you’re looking at (if you’re able) to ensure it’s actually a deal.
Maybe I’m weird, but I prefer the Joycons over any other Switch controller I’ve tried, including their Pro controller. It is SO NICE to be able to position my hands wherever I like, to the point where holding a standard controller basically feels like handcuffs. Even using my Xbox controller on pc feels bad in comparison. Also worth noting that 99%+ of my play time is docked.
Hard to say without knowing the conversations or what the recipients are like.
Personally, I try to keep texts to quick messages, as I’m not one for text conversations. If someone started throwing blocks of text at me, expecting me to keep up the conversation, I’d just call them. If they didn’t want to talk, then it probably wouldn’t be long before I just stopped reading the texts.
I think people are within their right to choose who they celebrate with, especially if the person in question isn’t someone they know. I don’t know how far apart everyone is, but would you be able to take off early and spend a few hrs with your friend?
Did you read the article? It says the other purchasable titles are 75 fish bucks.
Meal prep is the way.
