Former Trump advisor Steve Bannon:

We’re being dragged into a potential Third World War that would eclipse the first two. And this is happening in the most egregious way every single day. The White House claims they were unaware of the Ukrainians’ plans. They just went ahead and attacked Russia’s nuclear triad—something even General Curtis LeMay wouldn’t have dared to do.

They disabled 40% of their strategic bombers—41 out of 100. The attack was bold, audacious, all of that… but this is unacceptable. A country we fund and make deals with is now pulling us into its war. They think they can strike Russian territory and drag us into a conflict with Russia. We’re being dragged into a war that could metastasize.

A hard-core Republican coworker of mine said that this should be considered a war crime and Russia should nuke Ukraine.

According to republicans, Ukraine doing anything other than bending over and taking it is illegitimate and totally their fault. Makes sense for a party who elected Trump twice.

It’s a common thread of logic for them.

Their favored aggressors and abusers are essentially framed as dangerous wild animals who can’t be held responsible for their actions. They can’t help but react to their victims, whether its a cop magdumping an unarmed suspect or Russia rocketing a civilian district. And the victims should know better than to incite further reactions. Somehow it falls on the victim to deftly navigate the rage of their attackers.

The thought that it’s the aggressors who need to learn (or be taught) temperance does not enter their head.

We get a similar dynamic in the US media, even supposed ‘liberal’ media. People blame Democrats for the awful things republicans do because they didn’t stop them. Republicans are rarely blamed for being the ones who wanted to do the horrible things in the first place. Definitely a victim blaming, absuive narcissist dynamic.

Was listening to a Trumper saying how it was okay for Trump to go into the women’s changing room because he’s a professional, in contrast to trans folk. Then it struck me, these people are cucked. Russia is bigger and badder, so of course they expect Ukraine to just take it, because being cucked is literally their world view.

Instead of some greasy podcast hack I’d much rather hear from professional military analysts and foreign policy experts. Bannon’s opinion doesn’t matter in the same way my opinion on how to perform open heart surgery doesn’t matter because I don’t know anything about open heart surgery.

Also what’s disgusting is Spotify recently allowed Bannon’s podcast back on. That’s why I’m again calling for people to contact Spotify and complain about bringing War Room back, about Joe Rogan’s disinformation and Andrew Tate’s hate. Or consider canceling your subscription and when you cancel fill out the reason why you canceled, mention it’s because of Bannon, Rogan and Tate.

Taking into account that everything around Trump is to be considered “Russian Mouthpiece”, this is not surprising. I wonder how many more briefings from the GRU than from the national security team Trump gets.

Russia is using part of that triad to launch conventional weapons killing Ukrainian citizens. Russia lost any grounds to say Ukraine shouldn’t target these military assets. Well dang Steve, I guess you need to get on the phone and convince Russia to pull out of Ukraine then before this escalates into WWIII as you claim, right?

Steve bannon is having his glory day in the hot sun now that musk ketamine head staggered off the stage.

    Bannon is getting cocky now.

How about praising Ukraine for defending itself against the giant that is Russia. Plus these people don’t value lives so they’re also fighting an impossible to win fight. Trump supposedly gets nicked in the war and he yells “fight fight”. That’s ok but Ukraine it’s “surrender surrender”.

Evil sticks with evil I say.

Well I should say! Ukraine should just ensure peace by surrendering and becoming part of Russia.

That’s what the current administration is after, they just won’t admit it.
