One of my all time favourites. Definitely a love it or hate it type of game though.

I didn’t hate it, but nothing hooked me after I put in about 10 hours and I just ended up forgetting about it. It wasn’t particularly challenging but it was a huge time sink for the amount of progress I made. The social features detracted from the immersion.

I like the idea of meticulously planning for a trek in a highly atmospheric, apocalyptic, and dangerous wilderness, and having to make difficult decisions about gear/loot that weight limits impose, but I feel the STALKER games do this much better.

I had some of this feeling too and found the game is much better in very hard difficulty as it makes all the equipment and weather reports actually useful.

I would spend an hour or more on one delivery just walking from one end of the map to the other! DS is not my usual kind of game but it fits me perfectly.

Can’t wait for the version where they remove gameplay and it’s entirely cutscenes. We can call it a “removie” because they re"moved" the gameplay.
