no, i don’t. i am ready to do many things i am unable to admit to. that doesn’t make it a possibility without a network of support and plans beyond my single self. this is going to take a large amount of people willing to coordinate and risk losing their freedoms and potential lives to help save the rest of us.

then thing to do isn’t to say “nothing will happen” and spread helplessness online. you are a propagandist in these times now. you must hearten the people. you must electrify them to that the things they want are possiple, and that they are not alone. but they need to know what’s coming will not be planned here. it will be planned in person in real life. they will be conducted outside on and near grass

you are right, of course, and normally i do try to be more encouraging and positive, especially to people who are unfamiliar with life beyond capitalism. but i am exhausted. i see the average American has no interest in personal sacrifice for the greater good, and more significantly, they have no support to even retaliate if they wanted to. they are beaten down with debt and the necessity to work to live. i am desperate to do more but the little i am already doing in my community is nowhere near what i should be doing on a larger scale. how do i find people who are doing something? because they aren’t the peaceful groups i know in my area of the country.

Were you out in the streets on the 5th? Perfect time to find your people as 5 million joined you. Have you looked up your local chapter of the SRA?

yes, i was. my city had a pretty decent demonstration. however, most of the people attending were easily identifiable as liberals. they are not my people although allies are necessary. the closest SRA chapter is 3 hours away.

I am with you in WNC and the only blues area are Asheville and Boone which I am an hour away from both. Any SRA or LGOA is hours away. At the protest on Saturday, I was the youngest veteran there and out of the 300 or so in my town at the event I was one of the youngest and I am 62. I have tried to get my more liberal friends to come with me to my shooting area but they have no interest. I have tried to talk with some of them in Asheville, and they seem to have no interest in getting ready for what is coming. I tried to talk to them years ago about this very thing and what we should be doing. They did not want to hear it. As a former military officer with a combat support branch and two combat actions I have knowledge. So I have resolved to shit up here on my mountain and watch it all burn because the people of WNC either don’t care or support what is going on.
