Modern propaganda techniques are such that millions of people believe in a reality that doesn’t exist.
Sadly, they’re simply brainwashed rubes
Worryingly, there’s a growing number of them thanks to all the “manosphere” and “trad” movements that exist to brainwash kids
See, if you bury your head in the sand, the virus can’t get you
Nah lumbergh had an air of competency that musk conspicuously lacks
What monster red phones this
It’s desert island discs? It’s a show where a radio DJ asks what music someone would be marooned on an island with.
There’s no journalist involved in the conversation
Was thinking on these lines yesterday,
If I were a nation-state adversary to the USA right now, my intelligence people would be targeting DOGE with every piece of spyware they had
Well from what I’ve read about trump, the shit is literally leaking from everywhere, orifices be damned.
He’s got the Depends™️ people trying to figure out how his constantly erupting deluge of putrid effluent is able to escape the Kevlar prison they’ve custom built.
Truly and harrowingly sadly:
Conservative voters hate trans people simply because they’re told to
Conservative politicians tell their voters to hate trans people because it distracts the voters whilst the politician robs them (of their rights, their potential or simply their actual fucking money)
It’s currently trans people because the previous victim roster of gay dudes and middle eastern people just isn’t cutting it any more.
They do, you just can’t hear it
It’s like how elephants communicate
I’m starting to think mid-century cooking was a psy-op
How long before he rolls a couple of those big ugly dictator headshot carpets down the side of the building
I think we’re in non-zero probability now
Nah that’s just the both sides fallacy, but it sounds like you’re operating from a US perspective, so I can see why you think this.
Reminder that Liberalism is also a right-wing ideology, it’s just a bit more socially centrist than conservatism. You don’t really have much of a left-wing voice in US politics at all, beyond a couple of politicians, I’m afraid.
Actual left wing politicians are guided by ideology to primarily benefit the greatest number of people with their policy.
Right wing politicians are guided by ideology to primarily benefit those holding the greatest amount of capital with their policy.
Pretty much everything else follows from that.
Right wing politicians operate on leverage.
These people gave them the keys in exchange for hearing what they wanted.
They no longer have leverage as far as the politician is concerned, so he’s done telling them what they want to hear.
History repeats again
And a decade or so ago it was LOLCODE that had me mildly concerned for the wellbeing of my peers.
So, general strike time right?
Is there an extension of Betteridge’s law of headlines for tech blogs?
If the title of a tech blog poses a problem, the solution is “the product I work on/sell”
Imagine the world we would be in now if it was Bernie back in 2016
You had me curious so I just went on Facebook marketplace and searched “bike”
The first screen of results was all bikes under £100
You realise you don’t need to buy a carbon fiber Tour de France bike to get around a town, right?
