194·2 years agoI can afford $13/month on my income and watch YT on a daily basis, much more than any other streaming service by a wide margain. Does that somehow make me an astroturfing troll?
I don’t think I need to know how air drag works, I just need to know that busses and trains exist. Build up those systems and you’ll have better efficiency than anything requiring cars.
3·2 years agoYeah, I started with beehaw a month ago, then lemmy.ml, and then lemmy.world. I switch between ml and world bc i dont really care about my account itself. And if one is slow, I go to the other. It ends up being pretty convenient.

I don’t think we’ll ever get away from these weirdos. I think that even if some ‘independent’, small company twitter clone became popular, Zuck would just buy it up. He bought Instagram, Elon bought Twitter, etc etc.
It’s probably inevitable that these wealthy goobers will end up controlling whatever social media is popular.

Of course. I don’t care for Barbie either, and never played with the toys during childhood so there’s no connection for me. I went to watch with my fiance because it was something she was interested in. The movie was okay. Wasn’t great, wasn’t horrible. I think when it becomes telling is when people are somehow offended or pretend like it’s the worst movie created.
