So he’s planning to rig the mid term elections.

Makes me wonder if this was Musk’s plan all along - make Starlink indispensible and then leverage it against Ukraine when the time came.
Pretty sure Trumpism was just Nazism in a new hat.
Sorry Bernie, the US turned off that road years ago.
You’re welcome! I can certainly empathise with wanting to find people who have the same experience. If it helps at all, whilst I don’t experience the struggle you do with composing emails, another person I know definitely does. Don’t know if they prefer phone calls, though.
Agreed. I buy physical versions wherever possible. Plus video and audio are generally higher quality than streaming/digital purchases.
Not everybody has the same stressors or needs and hence won’t have the same coping techniques. Nothing wrong with that. The important thing is that you’ve identified an approach that works for you.
I generally prefer emails over phone calls because with phone calls I can be put on the spot and if I’m tired or having a bad day then I can’t always respond effectively. Emails ensure that I can’t get overwhelmed in the middle of an important conversation.
Unfortunately not from the perspective of the billionaire class who just needs a labour force.
Sadly true.
This really shouldn’t surprise anyone at this point.
I wonder how many of his supporters are about to find out that they’re included in this.
You’re welcome! I hope it helps.
I’m surprised he didn’t try this in the first week as part of his “revenge” executive orders.
At the core, my Trello system works like this:
For more irregular activities, like holidays/trips, I also have a template card. It makes it much easier to prepare for a trip; I have checklists on that template card for:
When I know a trip is coming up, I then create a card from the template specific to that trip and start adding things as I think of them. For example, I might be planning to visit family for a birthday or other event, so “birthday present” would go on the non-regular packing list.
Not surprised, unfortunately - saw the news headlines about the restrictions on schools and churches being removed.
Ugh, I’m sorry to hear that. I don’t live in the US, so I have not seen this.
I wonder how long before that actually happens - weeks or months?
A slew of organisational tools to help me keep track of things and prevent overwhelm:
Beyond that, I find it very important to keep my space organised, neat and tidy. Too much visual clutter is overwhelming. Making sure everything has its own place and is readily accessible takes a lot of hassle out of anything I have to do, whether it be day-to-day stuff or one-off tasks.
I can’t quite decide if this is just virtue signalling or not from the Democrats. I know some of them would genuinely support it, but this feels very much like it is too little, too late - if they were actually serious about saving democracy in the US, they could have done this when it actually stood a chance of being useful.
Maybe, but I think it’s more likely they’ll want some pretense of legitimacy and rig them instead of cancelling them altogether.
