You are absolutely correct and I wish people would ally against corporations more. At the moment there is a good sized movement against McDonald's and Starbucks, but there are still enough people buying from them that they're "ok."
Remember, if you see or hear a church actively campaigning for any sort of politics you can report them and get their tax free status taken away. 👍

This is exactly it and everyone should keep it in mind even if it's helped you individually in your rural area. Elon keeps taking shortcuts for a cash grab and shooting garbage into space is not a long term answer.
Where you put your money matters. We can’t completely avoid big box stores for food but we can at least not buy certain brands like Frito lay or nestle products. Buying from charity thrift stores (not goodwill or salvation army). Not buying anything on strike days. Lots of ways to do your part!
