  • Its funny how Debian is rock solid on its own, but there are several distros that claim to be based on Debian, but significantly better (without actually being better for even the most inexperienced users).

Which is the exact opposite of Arch, where there are several distros that make it actually usable for the average person (EOS user BTW).

  • For an embarrassingly long time I thought they were the same person, and I wondered why anyone would look up to that tool, and call him a genius, when he couldn’t even benchmark an HDMI cable correctly (literally the only video of his I watched, and yes, I know that it wouldn’t have mattered even if he did do it properly).

Now that I know that its 2 separate assholes, I feel like LTT is even more of a tool who leans into the identity confusion on purpose for more internet clout.

  • Every country has a different way of securing cards, and north america sucks at it.

Depending on the payment processor, here in Canada you need my card number, as well as one or two of the following: PIN, Postal Code, CVV/CVC, a voice changer and my mother’s maiden name, etc to do a transaction without my physical card.

With my physical card you don’t even need that for $2-300 purchases (depending on retailer), or more if the retailer hasn’t blocked swiping/the thief has access to a swiping card reader.
