Even if they would get all of Ukraine, I would expect quite a bit of underground resistance that would make holding on to Ukraine expensive.

It’s hard to give tips without knowing your situation better, but here are a few general ones that probably already set you apart from the vast majority of other small companies:

• Keep your stuff updated, especially when there are security fixes available
• don’t take convenience shortcuts that compromise on security (e.g. relying on “security through obscurity”)
• block incoming traffic by default (you only need some people from your country to access the network? Maybe even block ip ranges from the other side of the world)
• log access to your network and also analyse the logs often (probably with the help of some software)

I use ChatGPT sometimes to give me a pointer in what directions I could go/research more for a given problem. But if I ever take the code provided by it, I need to review it line by line and half the time it doesn't even compile anyway. At this point it's just a helper to suggest to me what to google for and then I do the rest😅

I would argue this wasn't planned. If you want to cause damage, why do it in the middle of the night? Not sure how full this bridge is during rush hour, but I would imagine quite a lot more than it was when it collapsed now.

I really hope with this move the crazies from die Linke are all gone, so it's finally possible to vote for them. Let's keep an eye on them 😊

I watched some video some time ago where they put that in perspective: If I stopped causing any climate negative emissions now and for the rest of my life, it would amount to like 1 second emitted by the top 100 companies (not 100% sure about the numbers exactly, but it’s basically the same order of magnitude).

I’m not saying that we should stop caring about it at all, but it’s much much more important to try and steer politics into the right direction, than it is to change personally. Still, do all you can personally, but imo it’s fine to “cheat” here and there.
