America isn’t the only place with stupid people.

And, Americans are some of the most heavily propagandized people in the world. it’s subtle, but it doesn’t have to be subtle for it to be effective. It just has to be pervasive.

Is there a problem with poor education? absolutely. Are stupid people voting for trump? absolutely.

This isn’t saying Americans aren’t stupid. we are.
This is a warning.

edit: to add, it’s really only a relatively large handful of americans that are shocked by this. Most of the people being surprised wanted to hurt people- and are really just being surprised he’s also hurting them. they thought they were “special” and that “he loved them” or something. stupidity and bigotry go hand in hand. Others knew it would maybe make things worse, but it was some how “worth it”. Others are in a christian fundamentalist cult and convinced to vote that way because some asshole preacher told them they’d go to hell if they didn’t. Others- the rich fucks- all want this to happen.

This is the same company that sells an entire printer at a loss, as a semi-disposable item, so you’ll be suckered into buying their proprietary ink cartridges at the low low price of an arm and a dick. Inefficiency? From the company that makes disposable fucking printers? yeah that sounds about right.

small point of fact… they’re no longer loss leaders. They’re making a profit on the printer too, now. they only did that to push out other brands in the space- they’re at 20+% global market share… and that’s just HP branded printers. they own some other junky brands.

the thing is, if it’s slow and they have to let you wait 15 minutes, that’s… ineffeciency. Like. it might not always stay slow. if someone wants to talk to a human, and there’s a human free, it’s bad business to make them go through all the other hoops first.

Fixing HP’s statement on the matter so it’s more honest:

Then there’s the cleaning and bacterial contamiation issues- food dehydrators are made to be easily cleaned so as to prevent bacteria doing nasty things to you.

Then there’s the various resins and solvents that sometimes off gas becoming toxic.

Microplastics is far down the list if you’re desperate, but it’s there too.

protests are happening everywhere, in every state, though they’re mostly small. the news isn’t covering a lot of them because there’s no rioters and the news can’t push a narrative that people hate trump.

Unless you happen to live fairly close… which is fairly not likely…. So you drive to a rally point or someplace near some transit (or with plausible deniability,) etc. to get in.

Or just conceal your plates and don’t drive something flashy,

there is something to be said about being connected to others. particularly for protests that move around or so you can let people know you’re driving home etc vs locked up for bullshit.

it’s also convenient as a form of souseveillance. Just remember pictures and video are evidence, that cuts both ways; especially in the face of cops being excessive.
