Reddit just feels like Facebook these days. Niche subs are not affected as much, but the vast majority is just low quality trash, gossip, selfies and unhinged political discussion.
When people say they want Lemmy to become the new reddit, they are not talking about the reddit of today, more like the one from <2015.
Launching hundreds of drones and missiles at civilian targets is not "being the better man".
Ah yes, liberating a nation by establishing yet another radical theocratic dictatorship.
At least Ukraine is not doing it in the middle of winter, unlike Russia.
Do you really want to chat about that with the distilled essence of a million redditors?
Russia is far from overpopulated, they have only twice as many people as France. This war will most likely destroy a number of small villages, where most of their force is drafted from.
Ironic that you are complaining about a lack of nuance with the most generalized and misinformed post I've seen in a minute. Also, this whole situation is completely unrelated to the government.
There are a number of legends surrounding the pirate Klaus Störtebeker, who was active in the 14th century. The most popular one is probably that when he and his crew were facing execution, he made a deal with the mayor of Hamburg that if he manages to walk past any of his fellow prisoners after his beheading, they'd be spared. His headless body supposedly walked past eleven pirates until the executioner made him stumble. The mayor did not keep his word and all 73 members of the crew were killed.

I hated Windows 8 enough to put up with it at the time. It's nuts how much things have improved since then.
Hopefully that means that we'll get a new Brothers in Arms sequel at some point.

That article is from February.
I feel like the whole thing shouldn't have come down as easy as it did…
Edit: Nevermind, I didn't realize how large this ship actually is.
I think the reality is that no one on Reddit gives a shit about Lemmy
I wouldn't be so sure:
What are you on about? I remember reading the warning they put out before the attack. And so would you if you paid attention instead of living in fantasy land.
How do they know that he was tortured to death if Israel hasn't released the body or any information? There are a lot of claims being made in this article but I can't find any sources to back them up.
