Yes ok my mistake, despite * I am of course not talking about files with e.g. .css extension but only the browsers with chrome* as name. :)

Edit: Above all, I don’t want to imply that Firefox and co don’t use system resources just as wastefully. But they are still the better choice.

  • As soon as you know that the first cat will only stay within the apartment, it is best to have two and make sure that they understand each other and do not fight.

But of course it is never too late. Above all, you should be able to reach the previous owner at any time. That you can return the second one at any time if they don’t get along. The back and forth may be stressful for a short time, but it’s better if they don’t get along. Since you have a cat, I would also tend towards a tomcat (they like to cuddle more than cats) but sterilize if you don’t want any offspring.

Edit: btw with returning i talk about 1-~15 days

  • Arch was my first choice precisely because of the learning curve. As soon as nothing works with the other distros the user is completely overwhelmed because just like on Windows he is kept stupid and away from bash etc…

No, with every other “used” friendly distro I had such massive problems… and their wikis and other help end at the arch wiki anyway.

Edit: Btw I don’t want to talk down the other distributions in any way. It’s just my personal opinion. Especially since Arch Linux is not out for stability because of the rolling release, users naturally save themselves the trouble with distributions that are primarily out for stability.

  • Reason is as example bambu. Prusa and the other open source player’s doing the development and off has the development cost. So now there the closed source manufacturer which picking their printer from the open source work. Has no development cost… its not sharing anything for the open source community and ofc can sell their printers for so much lower. This destroys the open source community

Now it would be interesting to know what the market looks like in the east. Despite sanctions etc., the parts have also ended up in Russia and it only became known because of these TikTok warlord wannabes… But what about those that are not known? Musk certainly doesn’t give the impression that he’s worried.

I mean, 2 years ago you could have bet that the vehicle that can’t stand the rain and has to stay off the road won’t be spotted on a war zone and tjoa the world goes crazy. Welcome to the Matrix. /s (? im not sure if sarcasm or the sad attempt to explain the decline of humanity since maybecorona. )

Maybe we will read in 1 week/month that Musk is suing the population because they use the products of the competition and thus commit treason to ruin the country’s own production. Anything is possible with megalomania.

Yes, people who believe in electric vehicles but not in the company or the person. Tesla was the first to establish itself and was permanently in the media in the West. Many people didn’t find out what the market looked like but went by what they already knew.

So all the Musk fanatics are sticking with Tesla.

( you make more money with the dumb folk… so in long term the musk fanatics)

  • People die but remain missing = no costs They finance most of the equipment etc. themselves. Laws are already being changed in the direction of forced child labor and I wouldn’t be surprised if Putin brings forced rape into play if necessary. So losses are manageable even with the junk equipment.

Ukraine is acting democratically… even the current convocation will do if age limits have to be constantly adjusted. Equipment either from abroad or financed from abroad. Losses are not bearable

Europe, America and all democracies in the world are sinking into unstable chaos due to Russia’s propaganda machine. No more united action, etc. The majority of the population backing Russia is becoming an ever greater risk and the likelihood of civil war is increasing.

    Etc.

So people who don’t take this seriously, make fun of Russia, etc. have absolutely not grasped the seriousness of the situation. There are several ways of waging war… even without actively intervening in the events themselves.

  • Unfortunately, not all functions are available in the linux version. However, this is not due to the developers but to the specifications so that they are allowed to implement xnurbs etc… In other words, you would have to run it via wine, but that works wonderfully. Even so, updates with fixes or new functions etc. come regularly. Had also bought it because of 3d printing and was completely new to 3d printing and 3d software. Can only recommend it.

https://youtube.com/@pixelfondue There you will also find many small 30-60 second videos that are very useful.

With bambu Lab, however, you are supporting a Chinese closed source manufacturer that makes use of the open source community and has no development costs. This only supports the fact that open source alternatives have to become closed source in the long term and thus destroys the market in the long term. But greed is good, right?
