They have the second amendment across the border, would be more than time that they wake the fuck up…
He won’t acknowledge it because that would be admitting that his side lost
“We need to stop spending money on Ukraine!”
“Ok, I can see a conservative making that argument…”
“We’ll do it by becoming best buds with their enemy!”
“Eh… Why?”
From the get go you start by saying that if they try to lower their cut people will accuse them of trying to become a monopoly, which is completely idiotic considering they’re already in a monopolistic position. Then you act like rich people have no power over the fact that they’re accumulating wealth while the majority of the world is struggling to live.
I have zero respect for people who defend those who take advantage of the majority.
Off to the block list with you.
Because such a ridiculous take doesn’t warrant a response.
You’re defending the owner of a yacht collection and saying his money is used to keep his business lush… Get real.
The UI is super simple, it’s based on Linux so it’s much closer to using a tablet computer, you access your books via folders
Default UI
Library is a file Explorer
UI without recommendations (I never bothered turning it off because I’m never on the front page)
Very happy I got a PocketBook instead of the store locked alternatives
You realize that the cut they’re taking ends up being used to pay for a yacht collection, right? They don’t need board members and shareholders to enrich the few at the expense of the many and to take anti diversity decisions…
There’s nothing great about Valve at this point, they disrupted the status quo back in the day, came up on top and take advantage of their position, just like any other company, private or public, does in their position.
Nobody is going to overtake Steam even if they’re better. People don’t want to have multiple libraries to deal with so you see them brag about paying for games to have them on Steam even though the game has been free on other platforms… Sometimes they even have claimed them and will still spend money to have them on Steam.
I just installed all the free games I got from Amazon before deleting my account and they’re all DRM free…
The right doesn’t understand that money spent stabilizing things elsewhere ends up saving money locally. That includes actual aid to poor countries, like condoms going to a country with an AIDS epidemic!
I just wish I was paying attention the day it climbed back up to 60$, I would have sold for a small profit in a hurry…
Why not celebrate government cuts? Because all the countries in the world where the standard of living is the best have a strong public service managing social programs!

Windows settings has all the privacy stuff but they ask you to approve (or not) a bunch of it on installation
The UK trick makes you “a European” and there’s a bunch of laws that restricts the bullshit…
There’s ways to force the upgrade without doing it via Windows update
Get a copy of Win 11 Pro
Install with English (UK) as your language (doesn’t prevent you from using whatever keyboard layout you want or setting your clock to your timezone)
Activate using tools that can easily be found on the interwebs
Deactivate the privacy infringing stuff
Tada, none of the problems people complain about
Had a colleague who was doing that with another colleague that fell down the anti vax rabbit hole, he would just come up with the craziest thing until the other guy left him alone.
The idiot tax isn’t an actual tax…
No taxation without representation
Why be part of the US if it doesn’t represent your interests and if there’s a dictator in power?
