Well they can plan it if they want to, but I'm sure many instances will just end up blocking them and there isn't anything they can do about it. But on the other hand, having such a large backing is making things much easier for Threads.
I can't sleep in the shadow of the light

I remember watching this interview about this guy who had to be resuscitated and he said that what he felt was "nothing", as in kind of like when you're sleeping and you know nothing, except turned up to a thousand. He said he had to go through some serious therapy to get over it because when he "came back", he just couldn't believe that he had lost that sense of not having anything to worry about. I would venture its something like that, just like going to sleep but you just don't even know it.
If we assume that all we are is just electrical impulses in our brains and those cease when we die, I don't expect there to be much after that, you're just gone and there's nothing, so there is no suffering either.

And they had not paid rent since January? I will never understand the notion that some people, regular people, not billionaires, deserve to lose income while some people deserve free housing because of "family". While he obviously went a bit overboard, I can't imagine there wasn't some desperation in his actions because he had not been paid rent for months on end.

Some software just literally isn’t available for Linux. And lets face it, even Ubuntu requires more tinkering than the average user is prepared to do, or in other words, any tinkering at all because they would have to install it themselves and they do not know how to do that. And the few times I’ve bothered to use Linux even as my backup, the tinkering never stops. Its not worth the hassle at this point in time.
Just make sure anything you order is either “fulfilled by Amazon” or “Ships from Amazon” and you should avoid that. I personally don’t order anything that isn’t shipped by Amazon (either through fulfillment or otherwise).
I swear it hit 2M last year as well, people just stopped using it.
Over 300 million I think, which Threads is not yet even close to.
It really worries me that they’re trying to be federated with it. Thankfully lots of instances will block it, but it was only a matter of time until a corporation decided to take aim at federation.
I’m still waiting for Blue Sky, but at this point its either Mastodon or something else (like Threads) because Blue Sky just seems to be taking an eternity. Something is going to replace Twitter and at this point I just don’t know what it will be.
Store brand cola (Rainbow) is fine for me. Also Pepsi Max out of a can, just something about it.
A special shoutout to Canada Dry Ginger Ale, I miss it. I haven't seen it in the store for over a month now.
