Dang it. Why can’t more wealthy people just be chill and not psychopaths. I get that statistically, they are more likely to succeed due to lack of morality. But damn.
It would be cool if somebody nice acquired the businesses.

I think a lot of my creativity is stunted because I don’t generally notice these issues in rockstars games until someone points them out lol. I think it would be pretty cool if they gave people more choice and options
I only recently experienced the luxury of higher frame rates.
I’ll put up with 30. I usually don’t notice it after a while, especially if it’s steady.
60 is preferred, and I always aim for performance if I can.
I’m very curious how this one will pan out. I tried Outer Worlds, and I dropped it after about 10 hours or so. It felt oddly empty to me. I figure I should give it another shot at some point.
I hope this game is good!
I think books were also a target at one point
I’m surprised they kept going. I thought they would have stopped a while ago
Animal crossing pocket camp just became buy to play. It’s currently on a reduced price right now, and it’s pretty fun. I enjoy it because it’s played vertically, and now that there’s no micro transactions, I can earn all the items just by playing. It had a 7 year life cycle, so there’s a lot of content to check out.
The gameplay loop is fairly limited, and I wouldn’t say it’s the most fun. But once you get enough items to start decorating things, it makes it fun to spruce to your campsite and personal spaces.
The only game I played that was released this year was the eldin ring dlc. Give me a couple years and I can tell you what the GOTY for 2024 was lol
I stopped playing overwatch because I would play healer and then get abusive messages sent my way.
The breaking point was when I got one message demanding me to swap off mercy from one guy, and then a message from another teammate yelling at me for swapping off mercy. It was a really fun game at the time, but only with friends.
In the mid 2000’s you got used to the trash talking pretty quick. I didn’t mind it as a kid. But over time it got tiring. When xbox live introduced parties, we slowly stopped going into public chat. It was around the time the kinect launched when we stopped completely.
There was always somebody playing with it on rather than a mic, and you could hear their whole house. The crying kids, the dog barking, having arguments with their spouse. It was uncomfortable at best.
It’s a shame because I met some of my best friends online. Now, because of time zones and work schedules, I never get to talk to them anymore. They aren’t really the type to keep up a conversation unless you’re actively talking with them daily, so we kinda just drift. Adult life really messed up my life lol.
Possibly! It’ll happen eventually. I’m in no rush I suppose. I’ve got plenty in my backlog already and not enough time haha
I can’t wait to get a new PC eventually. I’ve been missing out on some exciting mods and PC games the past 5 or 6 years
After playing part of their game Outer Worlds, I’m not surprised. I thought the writing was alright, but the game felt lacking and empty. I was surprised because I’ve only ever heard good things about New Vegas. I haven’t played New Vegas yet but I’m assuming it’s a much better time
Damn yeah that’ll do it. Kids can be ruthless!
Yeah “uhms” and the dreaded “like” are also an issue for me too. I would like to eliminate it from my vocabulary entirely. I make videos and live stream, and I notice it a lot when I watch playback. It’s pretty terrible. Did you have a hard time ridding them from your speech? I should try fixing that.
Yeah I mean, idk what happened there. Brain wasn’t computing well I guess.
But for real I really don’t know. I’ve noticed that happens with me sometimes where I’ll repeat phrases in a single post
I think the issue is possibly rooted deeper than just usage on steam. I mean I know steam could/SHOULD do more to fight it, but I mean…has said US senator looked at the newly elected government and the people that voted for said government? I mean damn dude.
The rot is deep and is very soon going to be considered “default” behavior.
I like the games, but man, I really miss classic 3D zelda dungeons. The other day, I decided to try OOT master quest, and it was super refreshing!
Forgive my ignorance, but is Suigi new in the scene? I remember Puncayshun and Cheese, but it’s been a few years since I kept up with mario64 speedruns
This kinda sucks to see. Less competition is a bad thing for everyone. Maybe it’s just me hanging onto every bit of nostalgia I have, but the Xbox generations were special.
I know that it can’t like…physically remove any of the good times I had with the systems over the years. But these consoles have been part of my life since 2001. So many friends and memories were created with these systems. In a way, it feels like your friend is dying, LOL. I know that’s extremely over dramatic, but like damn.
Some of the exclusives that came to the system were really special. It’s sad to see that over the past decade, there were really only a small handful of exclusives that were notable. Especially when early on we had some absolutely amazing stuff.
On a more serious note, I am extremely curious what this means going forward and how they will handle digital purchases a decade from now.
