I posted in the other thread - Elite Dangerous, but the version with all the options the players have asked for for a decade. Sandbox play where I can fly wherever, do some exploring and trading, maybe a bit of combat (because players don’t die as long as they have an account balance).

I think there are other conspiracies within the automotive industry that are true, i.e. could have done better for fuel economy but would have impacted profits. The water car is not one of them. There are applications that use water to change engine dynamics that are viable (my dad had a patent on one and lived his life battling people who didn’t want to hear about it), but running on water is too far from reality.

I think so. Our automotive-prone minds see it pointing this way and see a car, but that’s probably the back.

Not only that, it’s not even a proper truck. They could have come up with a standard truck design and used tech and EV to create a new niche that was usable. But no one can tell Elon no, so his 5-year-old self’s vision had to be made because it’s different. Sometimes different doesn’t mean better.
