Wholesome
They are both fascinating and funny critters.
Both the axolotl and the 7 year old?
Why are you so mad, Bront?
This is a quality shower thought.
I took physical notes… Played completely blind and tried to figure everything out on my own. Probably not too many item descriptions though.
This is relevant to my interests…
Also can't forget gaming companies that have turned many modern games into Skinner-boxes.
Twitter reminds me of the worst parts of the old "wild west" internet now. There's still some good content, but it's hidden among scams, skeezy porn ads, and some of the worst opinions you've ever read.
I feel pretty immune to that kind of stuff, but it's a huge culture shock after browsing moderated social media.
Far Side is timeless
Maybe it's the perspective, but it looks like an adult man's head on a kid's body.
Isn't this basically what Batman did?
Omg, thanks! I noticed that it had hit a million recently, and I was thinking about writing up a post to commemorate it and maybe share some thoughts about my experience posting like a madman on the fediverse for 6-7 months so far. If I do, it’ll probably be on the c/fediverse community, unless anyone can think of a more fitting one.
I’m also surprised it’s still visible! My instance upgraded to 0.19 recently, which supposedly takes away the upvote count from your profile view. I was secretly hoping to make it to one million before the upgrade happened… Lol
(Edit: also glad to hear you got into TNG!)
You're right, we should be cutting out the bloated middleman entirely.
This is a good step in the right direction, but I'd like to see it applied to commercial plans as well. Prior authorization is everything they're saying it is and worse.
Haha, you're too kind. I'm just trying to do my part to help grow this place!
Originally saw this posted by The Picard Maneuver. I can’t figure out how to tag him on Voyager.
Don't worry, I'm here too!
Also, I've mentioned it elsewhere, but might as well say here too: Anything I post to Lemmy (including stuff I've made) is totally fair game to post/repost/share anywhere you'd like. I love seeing content spread around the fediverse.
I've noticed that some people do use other filters than "Hot" or they scroll back in smaller communities, because I'll occasionally get comment replies to posts I made months ago. It's cool to see.
