  • federal judge denied unions’ attempts to block the firings.

This isn’t because the judge is being complicit, but rather they didn’t know if they possess the jurisdiction to do so. They suggested that it be put forward to the NLRB. However, Trumps administration has illegally fired the heads of the NLRB, reducing it below the legal number required for them to make a quorum. So that’s probably going to have to be figured out in a federal court before the NLRB does anything.

Everything is being dismantled because of our democracies inability to manage procedural doctrine. Death by paperwork is such a drab way for democracy to whimper out of existence. At least the Nazi had the Reichstag fire as a symbolic death of democracy. While were getting taken out because too many baby boomers judges are being too lackadaisical to do their jobs.

  • Russia is not israel, they don’t attack civilians (despite what similar liars to yourself will claim) and civilian infrastructure and life goes on.

"As of 31 August, the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine (HRMMU) had verified that conflict-related violence had killed 11,743 civilians and injured 24,614 in Ukraine since 24 February 2022.

During the reporting period, Russian armed forces continued to target energy infrastructure across Ukraine, affecting essential services and deepening concerns about the plight of the civilian population with winter approaching."

Honesty seems to be a problematic concept for the people supporting the Russian invasion of Ukraine…

Also, I am surprised you even pretend to care about constitutions considering Putin had to rewrite Russias to stay in power past 2024.

  • Yeah, Giáp is undeniably one of the greatest minds in modern military history. Not only did he defeat some of the most powerful militaries in the world, he did so in strategically different positions.

I can’t think of another commander who excelled against an occupying force as an insurgent, was successful in counter insurgency, and defeated a better armed opponent in a head to head battle.

You’re totally right, if America had a general as successful everything in the US military would be named after them, we’d never hear the end of it.

  • Feel like this is really belittling to the VC and PAVN, the Ho Chi Minh trail is rightfully known as one of the greatest achievements of military engineering in the 20th century.

The North Vietnamese military didn’t win because America was just that incompetent, they had arguably a couple of the best generals in modern history. I mean they defended against the armies of France, America, cambodia and China within a couple decades.

  • don’t scare me and you have failed in your attempt to discourage

At what point did I try to scare you? I’m just trying to make you realize that people are upset, they just don’t see a lot of options to do anything about it.

You complaining on the Internet is not doing anything more than any other american currently upset at the government. Trying to posture yourself as some warrior of justice from your computer chair doesn’t validate belittling other people’s feelings on the matter.

Once again I ask, what makes you think you are any more upset than anyone else? What actions have you committed that makes your anger more real than others?

  • Moving the goal posts, yet again. Ah yes, ad hominem.

Btw, attempting to frame everything as a logical fallacy isn’t a fucking harry potter spell that automatically wins an argument. For it to be considered an actual logical fallacy the claim has to be logically flawed.

Meaning that for me to “attempt to move the goal post” means that my argument needs to shift in an illogical way as a way to confuse or obscure the original intent. If the argument adds or further expands the original claim then it’s just adding to the body of evidence.

An ad hominem isn’t just calling someone a bad name, it’s an argument based on calling someone a bad name. As in don’t listen to this guy, he’s an idiot. I’m just calling you an idiot because I think you have reddit brain and it’s upsetting.

  • The burden of proof (Latin: onus probandi, shortened from Onus probandi incumbit ei qui dicit, non ei qui negat – the burden of proof lies with the one who speaks, not the one who denies) is the obligation on a party in a dispute to provide sufficient warrant for its position.

Lol, yeah… And I am denying your and the administrations claim that this is a legal use of the US military. I’m not making an affirmation as I have no power to order the US military to do anything.

Providing transportation for other federal agencies is a lawful use of military equipment under 10 U.S. Code § 2642(a)(3):

Ahh yes, they’re only transporting ice agents right … It’s not like there are civilians on the plane who may or may not have been given due process.

The problem is that you don’t even consider the cargo humans.
