Most states here don’t even have car inspections lol
Every car that blinds me is some extremely new 2020-2024 year car. I get blinded by every third car on the road. The amount of people that get aftermarket headlights installed is very much not a third of all car owners. I can get behind poorly aimed by the dealer but you are wildly overestimating the number of people who have aftermarket lights.
I’m over in AL and I wish that my state was even on the road toward dragging our state forward. Maybe someday we can kick Kay Ivey to the curb and get a governor like NC.
Wow I actually really like that idea. I don’t think I would’ve ever come up with it myself. It’d be cool to have a candidate platform made up of the best crowdsourced policy ideas.
For me it looks like this:
So the text one appears the same for both of us but the emoji one appears differently which could possibly change its meaning if they were different enough

I know you’re probably joking but he is me and my 2 girlfriends! https://imgur.com/a/0DEx55H
That is definitely a benefit! It is very difficult sometimes, though.
I think this may be the origin? https://www.tiktok.com/@screenshothq/video/7356208240008498465
Although this person claims to be the one who started it: https://www.tiktok.com/@callmebkbk/video/7363362723855371566
Not sure about the article or the tweets but I thought they came later than the tiktoks
I’ve been playing through the Halo series recently as I missed the craze growing up because I had a PlayStation and I’m not really getting it. I’m guessing it’s just something you had to be there for? My first game was Super Mario World on the SNES and I loved COD4 when it dropped but trying to play Halo now is just not doing it for me I guess.
Starfire (Teen titans), Bloom? (Winx), Sam? (Totally Spies).
Gwen (Ben 10), no idea (Gargoyles?), Kim possible.
Daphne (Scooby Doo), Frankie (Foster’s Home), Elastigirl (mom from Incredibles).
I voted in the (ugh) Republican primary in Alabama!
This is dumb but only because we don't worry about energy use any other time. Tons of places in my city keep all their lights on 24/7 unnecessarily, we all are sitting on a "useless" social media, video games and movies and music are all energy uses. I don't want the government to start limiting energy use on things it deems unimportant. Who gets to decide what counts? Just implement a carbon tax and energy use will go down if people don't want to pay. We don't need to police everyone's usage, we just need the cost to actually reflect the externalities.
What an awful website
I thought so until I went back to reddit and saw the difference. Just today there was a post on PublicFreakout about Just Stop Oil sitting in front of a bus and over 300 comments wishing the bus driver would have ran over the protestors and killed them. It was actually insane.
I like basically every bill except maybe AB 645 so this is great news! Way better than my state Alabama lol.
So you don't have to go back to the article to see:
AB 645: Allows six cities - Glendale, Long Beach, Los Angeles, Oakland, San Francisco and San Jose - to install speed cameras. The law requires cities to put up signage warning drivers they could get a ticket if they don't slow down before approaching the speed camera.
I read that earlier and I’m confused why it seems to matter if the vote is above the threshold for the state to flip or not to do a recount.
Take Nevada: " As for Nevada, Spoonamore contended in his letter, “NV - 43K+ 5.5%+ of Trump’s total vote. Enough to exceed recount threshold.” The Nevada government website (archived) reported that — out of 1,487,887 total ballots cast — 1,484,840 ballots contained votes for presidential candidates and 1,464,728 contained votes for U.S. Senate candidates. The mximum number of “bullet votes” is 23,159. Trump received 46,008 more votes in Nevada than Harris. "
Snopes seems to be saying that it doesn’t matter if Trump cheated and sneaked in 23k bullet votes because Kamala would have lost anyway without them. In my view, if ANY cheating occured then that’s like really bad right? Even if it didn’t flip the election?
23k is a little more than half of 43k so the percentage would drop from 5.5% down to 2.8% which is still wayyy over the usual 0.05% bullet ballots which seems very odd and makes it recount worthy. (Note: The 0.05% bullet ballots figure comes from the original article which I haven’t fact checked since idk how so if that’s wrong please correct it “In comparison, bullet ballots for Trump in Oregon, Utah and Idaho—the three states which border Arizona and Nevada, with equally fervent Trump voters—count for less than 0.05% in each state.”)
