Let’s do racism and sexism, not because we’re racist and sexist, but because other people probably are. It may look like us and the bigots of unclear numbers are both having the same effect, but we’re not bad people just because our actions proactively support bad things. We’re just being pragmatic.

If you report a scandal as just facts because of some imagined role of journalists as simple archivists of events, the general public is unlikely to recognize it as a scandal.

If this is all above board, this is one of the most considerate acts of terrorism there could be. And that there was a message on one of the bombs that just happened to not explode sure seems like it was intended to not explode. If you’ve got access to something the size of a bus, intend for it to explode, and want a message to survive, you don’t put it on the bomb.
If they don’t think voting is going to do anything, go get arrested. Lead a protest. Go to an agency and don’t take no for an answer. Disrupt proceedings, even if it’s against decorum. Make a headline and then talk to anyone who will platform you.
These are supposed to be leaders, not functionaries.
And if this was his non-plan, why did he run for minority leader? Was his plan really just to ride out the next two years doing nothing and wait until a majority fell into his lap?
Democracy is crumbling around us while a fascist steals power and destroys the federal government and the minority leader is basically a non-entity.

This is such an obvious open and shut case. Nearly everyone knows he’s guilty, nearly everyone has lost faith in his ability to run the city, and the ultimate Boogeyman is very publicly using him to corrupt the state’s government.
Centrists will take an issue with 70% support and fret about taking any action because it’s not 100%. They only ever act when the public has already moved past the issue and they’re codifying the new status quo.

There’s no such thing as “authorization”. The US can make whatever deals it likes, it doesn’t mean Ukraine has to listen. There’s no such thing as “international enforcement” in the first place, just individual nations flexing power on other nations.
US weapons are important to Ukraine, so the US could flex that power and try to make Ukraine do what it says by withholding them, but if they think they can go it alone or Europe steps up, they don’t need to listen.

I don’t understand how you can complain about someone being “violent” while destroying people’s jobs and taking away critical social services. People have already died from their actions, but they’re white and using a computer, so it’s not violence.
The Democratic president with the largest margin of victory in recent times was a black man and you’re still out here saying we need to court voters that won’t vote for a person of color in order to win. Maybe your read on the inherent unelectability of women is similarly flawed.
