It was objectively a trainwreck but it was awesome when you were 8 and It brought video games to the big screen for the first time. I will always love it.

I just feel for the normal everyday person who has an unusual head shape that they are self conscious about being hurt by this instead of the asshole billionaire who deserves it. It’s like making fun of him for being short… Innocent people catch the strays. I stand against body shaming. But I feel you.
Let’s attack him for his controllable actions and not his uncontrollable appearance

5·10 days agoThe problem is trying to get people into “Lemmy”, where they have to understand federation and choose an instance, etc - instead of trying to get people into a specific instance. I know you don’t want one bloated instance, but if that was the mission it would be a lot easier to get people on board.

Why do we even need a 2? The first one is still very capable
If I really get stuck and can’t give one option a higher priority than the other, I assume they are “tied” and pick either randomly or based on what solves my most immediate need.

9·20 days agoNot to disagree but TBF, the GBC added color, the GBA was a big departure from classic GB, DS added the dual screen. Wii U added a controller screen. GameCube wasn’t really anything new besides power I guess.
I use Boost. I can’t do the web client on mobile. Or on desktop for that matter. It doesn’t feel right. This type of content demands an app experience for me.
For me it’s because I want to listen to any song that comes to mind on demand, even if I haven’t predownloaded it.
Disagree, as someone who loved both. It was a fun advancement, but that doesn’t replace the peak gameplay of Goldeneye.
If you start at 3 years old, I’d say that counts as native
