

Please, Reagan would be fucking thrilled. After the Republicans installed their dream government style in Russia after the Soviet Union collapse, it’s been their goal to bring it to America. The only thing that would make Reagan disappointed is that he didn’t get to be king.
A lot of people are decrying this number as being too low because it’s been common knowledge for a while that about 10% of the general population is LGBTQ. I think that’s a really negative way to look at the poll. Instead, realize that we’re finally at a point where nearly every LGBTQ American is comfortable enough with their sexual identity to report it on a poll. That’s a huge milestone for de-stigmatizing the LGBTQ community! Shame it’s happening at such a scary time, and I hope these rates don’t decrease as things become worse.
