I’m reading this as you looking to rationalize hate because you’re hating for the “right reasons.” But you should understand that the other side also thinks they’re hating for the right reasons, and that the hate itself is really the issue.
That’s exactly how I felt about it: worth the visit… if you happen to be in the area. A bit underwhelming after the long drive coming from the majesty of the redwoods.

I'm not sure you can say he never wanted to be president. He ran in 1988 and 2008 before running in 2020. It sounds more like he always wanted to be president, but I could believe he'd prefer to not feel like he has to run for another term.
