What do you mean provide credible sources? dO yOUr OWn reSeArcH!1!
Nope. A rare few have perspex boxes that you can see through but most are just a wooden box. It’s removed in summer to allow people to see them.
Unfortunately with more extreme weather those with carvings are starting to wear away. The more beloved or prominently known ones are being encapsulated in boxes to preserve them but most will just wear away.
The boxes aren’t pretty either.
For example, The Maiden Stone normally, and boxed.
An example of the wear on the western face.
Out of a population of over 300 million…
Correction. Want, not need. American universities are not lacking in money.
What does this mean?
Originally I thought you meant 2 million out of 15 million people but Turkey’s population is 86 million
Germany’s military industry was also trash at the time. Buying time for Britain’s defence also bought time for Germany’s offence.
If France, Britain, etc did something sooner rather than later a lot of bloodshed would have been avoided.
The World At War is an incredible documentary that covers it quite well.
“Since the French spurned any notion of taking the offensive, the Maginot Line ironically protected Germany better than it protected France.” Narrator, 8:10
“A few French divisions advanced 5 miles. But they didn’t even try to penetrate the Siegfried Line, at that time still unfinished. And while Poland fought on, there were no German tanks at all on the Western Front.” Narrator, 12:40
“If ze French Army would have attacked in beginning of September wiz zere very strong superiority in division in armoured cars well act all armoured cars in ze Western Front at zat time. In artillery, in air force, we ze German forces in the so called Western Front could stand no more than 1 or 2 weeks.” General Siegfried Westphal, Staff Officer Western Front, 14:05
Monetise or propagandise?
Both. It’s probably both.
The good news, if you can call it good news, is that Trump and co are so evil, and incompetent, that it’s waking people up to the awful system they live under.
Harris and The Democrats would’ve been able to continue with business as usual and nothing would change. At least now there’s some hope of a left surge in the wake of all this right wing hatred, pain, and suffering
Lol I wish. A fascist party got the third most votes at the last election.
Wow, thank you for the detailed response!
That final article isn’t quite relevant though and doesn’t exactly instill confidence when it took 2 years and 108,000 searches (180 per day) before anything was done…
I’m glad to hear there’s supposed to be some form of accountability, and checks and balances but we’ve seen throughout history that those sorts of checks are always open to abuse or intentionally ignored when it’s convenient for the powers that be. You may have a benevolent police force just now but that doesn’t guarantee anything in the future.
Mandatory government ID on your person at all times is still dystopian.
At all times? Even when pished at 3am stumbling home? That sounds rather dystopian and I say that living in the country with the most CCTV in the world.
Less safe? What features do you need that, say, a 2015 model can’t have?
An ICE that is still on the go is more environmentally friendly than manufacturing an EV from new… A new EV versus a new ICE, yeah fair enough. But replacing a perfectly functional ICE vehicle with a new EV for environmental reasons is just marketing, consumerism, and trend following.
To stop bullshit spying of every part of a vehicle, to stop bullshit waste of perfectly functional vehicles, buy used.
Obviously, fuck cars, use public transport if you can, but that’s unfeasible for most, so buy used!
Especially if you can get your hands on something like a 1.0l with a giant turbo strapped to the side. They’re pretty common in Europe, I don’t know about America.
Then don’t buy anything.
If you want to stop shit behaviour you need to provide consequences.
Buy a used car instead, there’s plenty of them.
When the new car market falls apart these manufacturers will change their ways.
But because people are unwilling to part with even the tiniest bit of convenience, prestige, whatever the fuck it is, I wish I knew, then the bad behaviour is encouraged and then you’re left in a situation where the market sees there’s no consequences for adding this shit to their products and they all do it.
Then everybody suffers.
It’s only crazy effective if it’s not expected. If it becomes the norm then everyone just starts wearing foam ear plugs, maybe ear defenders if they’re fancy.
It’s easily defeated and incites the wrath of the populace. It’s dumb to use, especially during a moment of silence for the dead.
Not totalitarian you say?

My experience in Azerbaijan also included tales of when they were children passing curds to starving prisoners through chain fences in Kazakh gulags. The Soviet Union did more harm than good to the leftist movement and is used as the scary example every single time someone begins to think twice about the capitalist system they live under. Socialism is forever tainted by the USSR and severely struggles to remove that image. Fuck the USSR.
