Even after setting embargo’s the us didn’t enforce private company’s from exporting/importing. And before the embargo’s the us were sending arms. The one of the countries America didn’t work with was Russia and is partly why the us worked with the Nazis. They saw it as a means to an end in the goal to defeat communism.

Capitalism is rigged to promote a certain kind of individual. People who are willing to step on others. So while there are outliers most of the people to have climbed the ranks are quite happy with the status quo and will act within theyre class interest and push workers to act against theirs.

As an sp member in the UK I can give you the parties stance. We aren’t going after small business. Your aunt while not giving to society and being a member of the owning class is more a symptom of capitalism and under a socialist programme she would not need to degrade others to live a fulfilling life. Dignity should be afforded to all but we also understand that material conditions govern us.

We go after bigger issues than your aunt.

Simply a lack of class consciousness. America has worked hard since the rise of the USSR to topple workers power through union busting and destruction of community.
