10 years ago, a Black woman told me that, while it’s perfectly valid to disagree with other people’s opinions, I should rethink the level of confidence that I depict when discussing a topic that I don’t know all that much about.
She probably saved quite a few others and myself from a fair bit of trouble.
Why would using one be an issue though? If the stencil is disposed afterwards, I don’t see an issue.
I did that experiment with my flatmates for some weeks once. (I love them, but they had it coming.)
One had a tighter schedule and you actually noticed the change pretty fast. I ended up telling him pretty early.
The other one didn’t notice at all, so I just went on and on. He was mad at me when I told him. Told me I should’ve just kept going if it’s working.
Both couldn’t tell from the taste alone.
The pattern that makes us think things are cute (=young) is pretty universal among animals. It includes big eyes, big heads in relation to the rest of the body, small noses and a small mouth. We find things like cats super cute, because even adult cats are pretty close to that pattern, compared to f.e. adult humans.
So I guess that an animal whose adult form is less close to this pattern than ours would probably think of us as especially cute?
I personally think we’re pretty hideous though. Weird, hairless apes.
I mean, I know millennials who don’t own a computer. Just phones. They got young kids. Not sure if those are alpha at this point or whatever, but how are they supposed to learn it if they got nowhere to practice?

I started to learn how to dance. You know, with other people. I’m really not the type. It’s embarrassing and terrifying. It also really helps me confront some of my fears. I’m pretty proud of that.
Let’s see what this leads to.
I don’t disagree , but there’s still the issue of different natural day-night rhythms. Night owls vs early birds.
Some people will need less discipline and motivation than others to achieve this.
Not to undermine the discipline of anyone who actually makes it happen.

I need to sleep 10 hours, every night, otherwise I’m actively depriving myself of sleep. I’m not ill, got confirmed that that’s just how it is. A 40 hour work week really wasn’t made for this.
I hear they’re pretty good at driving local birds extinct right now. Think about what would happen if they got this much time to hone their craft!
Probably, but I’d only believe that there is really nothing to be done once I see someone actually left-leaning attempt everything in their toolbox.
I believe Sanders would have tried to change as much as possible in the US. I also believe that he would have failed regarding a lot of things. Would have really liked to see him try though.
I get it and I don’t disagree, but- Well, I for one wouldn’t mind some radical change. Just not in the direction that it is going right now. Radical in itself is nothing bad, when the status quo is as bad as it is.
Now this is fucking cool! Sure it will probably take some time to become affordable, but that it’s possible at all is awesome.

If democrats in the US vote for stuff like Biden, then they’re not voting for any radical change. Trump isn’t comparable to that.

Guess I run into traffic, yelling and waving at the taxi that just deliberately passed me by. Then I get hit by a truck.
When he was three, on a summer day, my little brother climbed the stairs of our house and ran up to me and the neighbors kid.
He had some medical issues as a baby, so most of his toddler and early childhood years, he looked rather frail and bony. Great kid, but not really what you’d describe as cute. Not on this day though.
He ran up to me all smiley faced and star-eyed and yelled my name. You know, like in the movies. I remember how the neighbors kid just quietly sighed “cute” right next to me. I was so damn proud.
I wish it was something more sophisticated like seeing his health or whatever. All I can say is that I was really fucking proud of how incredibly cute my little brother was, while he wobbled into my arms.
