The orange idiot probably thought this was a documentary:
They fire the same rounds but I wouldn't really consider them a knockoff. SKS was made sort of as an answer to the M1 carbine and other lighter shorter weapons. This was in comparison to the Mosin Nagant which is a big beefy boy and hard to lug around. Also the SKS was designed 4 years before the AK47.
None of the guests suspected that she hadn’t made it from scratch
Bullshit. Did this author ever try a 1980s frozen lasagna? They absolutely could tell, they just didn't want to offend her.
I'm all for gun control but the guy who shot Scalise did it with an SKS and a handgun. Neither of those are classified as assault weapons.

If inflation has eaten away at your 6 figure salary that hasn’t been updated since 2009 imagine how the plebs making $7.25/hr feel.
Per comments from Holmes himself, the idea for the name had nothing to do with Tolkien’s works, nor the movie. It was instead to denote royalty and lordship. I have seen nothing in any of the reporting to indicate that this had to do with anything other than the name of the food truck. The truck wasn’t going to be themed after the books or films. There wasn’t going to be any trade dress or vehicle wraps harkening back to those works of fiction. There wasn’t to be a flavor of chicken called “One wing to rule them all.”
So trademark holders being douchebags as usual. The Lord of the Rings isn't associated with chicken wings in anyway so how could consumers be confused?
That makes it even worse. Why didn't they set up at night and throw up some camo netting? There are ways to lessen the chances your radar is blown up is all I'm saying. The ruzzians are morons exhibit #4,832.
Edit:
This was tucked away at the bottom of the article:
It’s possible the Ukrainians knew where to look for the Yastreb-AV because the truck-mounted phased-array radar emitted a distinctive signal—one Ukrainian intelligence may have had on file.
So they probably did radiate at the wrong time and paid for it.
I was a counter battery radar operator. The systems I used 20 years ago had these neat things called electronic counter measures. I guess russia never got the message that it's not a smart idea to radiate in a zone with anti-radiation missiles.
These idiots are lazy so it's probably just because you're cutting out ten pounds of ceramic and steel plates to carry. Also plates are bulky and weird if you're not used to them so wearing a plate carrier without them is just easier and more comfortable.
It appears to be a plate carrier sans plate.
but I think (hope?) it’s a net positive.
Definitely a net positive. My friend and I were discussing something similar the other day. He rides motos and I ride downhill and we both learned via youtube. What used to be restricted to people who could afford private lessons or coaching are now available to people even in third world countries. It's opened up a lot of new horizons for people.
No one who has been formally disqualified under Section 3 was charged under the criminal “rebellion or insurrection” statute (18 U.S.C. § 2383) or its predecessors so why would Trump need to be?
Right? Inversion thinking just sounds like a fancy way of saying anxiety.
Star Trek First Contact
Man, people must really love you if you twist words like that. The comment was meant in the general sense not the specific argument we’re having about weapons. Im not responding past this because you obviously just want to argue. Good day.
Most people arent going to research a social media comment to justify a belief that doesnt matter. So no, i dont find it even a little odd.
The whole ad seems to be a ripoff of a Paul Harvey speech.

Harvey's wikipedia page describes him as a close friend of Joseph McCarthy, Billy Graham, and J. Edgar Hoover.
