That’s what I don’t understand about all this RTO. If a company foces me to come to the office 5 days, I might comply, but I will for sure stop working hard when I am on the office, unless I really love what I am doing, and they pay me a shit ton of money.
If a company wastes my time, I’ll waste theirs.
Looking up the source, they state: “At the turn of the century, a flat screen TV would cost around 17% of the median income of the time ($42,148). In the early aughts though, prices began to fall quickly. Today, a new TV will cost less than 1% of the U.S. median income ($54,132).”
So a Flat screen TV used to cost around $7165, and does now cost around $541, which is about 7.5% of the original value. That means a deflation by 92.5%.
If he actually did it, he should rot in jail like any other murderer. If it can be proven that he didn’t, he didn’t he should walk free. That’s how it should be. That is how civilized people work.
I think you got it a little mixed up. The state needs to have it proven that he did in fact commit that murder, and not leave any doubt about it. It’s really not his job to prove anything, let alone that you can’t prove innocence in a lot of cases.
I’ve never heard of Fight club being a red flag. Probably it could be one if you’re overly obsessed with the movie, and express it with a focus on the toxic masculine parts of the movie, but in that case the issue is you being a red flag.
I think in this context it’s to make a joke about the male hotel guard going into the women’s bathroom to check for “other males”
