Seems they’ll just keep making money on sync.
Seems they’ll just keep making money on sync.
Two years old, switched to a new protocol, all open source, more recent security audits didn’t find anything, etc.
Yes that’s true.
But there are 90 million people who didn’t care if these people were in power either. I wouldn’t say those people have a moral compass either or we wouldn’t be here now.
Yes because letting something worse happen to you is… Good?
What a dumb argument.
And I support those people living in the fucking woods and never, ever making contact with anyone. After all, it’s their choice.
They don’t want to play by society’s rules then they can fuck right off out of society.
There’s no answer. People wanna bitch all day is all. Perhaps if a shit ton of people didn’t decide it didn’t matter in November the Democrats could have actual power to do something.
Bingo. They call for revolution from everyone but themselves.
Agree with you but I’ll also throw out- protests do fuck all here. Those in power ignore and then we move on with life. It’s just the truth.
Until you threaten their money or lives it won’t do shit and plenty of people are happy enough to hold signs and pat themselves on the back saying they made a difference.
2016 I’ll give you. There is no excuse for 2020 though. He got pummeled by Biden.
Signed, a Bernie 2020 voter.
Leftists do jack shit. It’s the truth. Hence there being no credible leftist platform or anything else.
If that were true, maybe leftists would be in power. But theyre not.
There was no reason to spend precious political capital on something deemed “resolved” when they could drastically improve healthcare.
Sure it still sucks but it was vastly worse before.
Yeah except people don’t vote for progressives. So…
Either these ideas are great and people will get off their ass for them or they aren’t. Im not convinced it’s the Democrats who are stopping progress. It’s the lazy ass American people who wouldn’t know a good idea if it bit them in the ass.
At least someone gets that it’s easier to tear everything down than it is to build something.
It is. Im tired of people making excuses for the idiots in this country. Idgaf if you thought the Democrats were terrible- theyre clearly far better than these fascists. But enough people decided it wasn’t worth their time anyhow.
Fuck them and fuck all of us because this is who we are.
The whole reason theyre foregone conclusions is because people stay home. Someone link the map that shows non voters win most of the country.
Let?
Quite frankly you need to wake up and realize fellow Americans were too fucking lazy to vote Democrat for you. There’s nothing Democrats can do now.
Perhaps try blaming Republicans and their voters too.
No she lost because people like you convince everyone that “both sides are the same.” They are far from it and Dems are worth voting for because in our electoral system they’re the better choice (and the only realistic one.) That and people don’t do their CIVIC DUTY. It’s not incumbent on anyone to get you to vote at all. Go vote 3rd party for all I care but at least go vote.
And big changes tend to happen after big events. If you’re so hopeless then go be a Luigi. I would accept that. But I quite frankly am not looking at starting a civil war before we’ve at least tried to vote change in. And we clearly haven’t tried given that people don’t do it every single damn time.
And what big changes? I’d argue the ACA was one. Same with the IRA. You might not think so because it’s not single payer wrapped up with a bow or that the IRA didn’t immediately take us down from 1.5*C change but they are big. And they were done with VOTING. If you don’t recall, healthcare was abhorrent compared to what we have with the ACA. And maybe if people went and voted Dem since that was passed we’d either have a true public option or be even closer to single payer. But they didn’t so we’re not. Funny that.
If you want to lose forever, keep doing what you’re doing.
Quite frankly, I vote left in primaries and Dem in general.
If YOU want to lose forever, keep your ass at home and your involvement contained to bitching online. Surely we’ll get to a better place then. /s
It’s tragic. But hey- where were the people voting in primaries to oust Liebermann? And Biden and company just passed the biggest climate bill ever. But sure- take your ball and go home. I’m sure things will magically get better by being lazy.
I think the turning point for being mature is when people realize that politics is not about big changes. Maybe they campaign on them but things don’t happen like that. It takes a long time even if the answer is obvious. Thinking that all of a sudden the US will dismantle the healthcare and health insurance industries in ONE term of Congress when it underpins a ton of the economy (which includes people’s jobs mind you- not just made up crap on the stockmarket) is foolish. It is a leviathan and will take time to eventually get to universal with insurance (ie. public and private) or single payer, etc.
And FWIW, it’s easier for Republicans to get what they want because all they want to do is break things. Trying to build something takes time. But again, go off.
Yeah, that’s kind of how it works.
Do you think the tea party got their fascist takeover in 2010? No, they worked years and years and kept pushing their party further to the right every single time until it finally happened.
Imagine that- you have to put in a couple hours of work at most every year or two for so many years to actually get what you want. Oh how absolutely awful that burden is. /s
That and those servers are going to be running anyway. Powering a simple restaurant website is a grain of sand on the beach of internet usage.
