In our house one of our common lazy dinner options is something that we simply refer to as gen-mex. It is a combination of a bunch of ingredients commonly associated with Mexican food assembled in whatever way you want. I think most commonly it resembles burritos or nachos, but it can certainly be modified to look like just about anything.
What I see here I would certainly classify as gen-mex.
Oh God you just reminded me of a funny story. I had a boss that was probably 600lbs+. He was huge. The bathroom was a single occupant situation, and the toilet was positioned what I would consider a normal distance from the wall next to it. Typical distance to allow reach to the to dispenser.
This monster of a human had literally crushed a crater into the drywall from sitting on the toilet and being pushed up against wall. Every time I used the bathroom and saw it I laughed a little. I think I was just amazed this person could actually function.
I’ve no embarrassment about shitting in public, but I still prefer my own bathroom for sanitary and comfort reasons.

I agree. There are tons of resources out there that will tell you how to do it and typically they come with plenty of comments from other people telling why the particular example is wrong. From there you should be able to piece together a lot of the common mistakes, and understand how not to make them. If you can’t understand the why to any of them, perhaps it isn’t something you should be trying yourself.
Just wear loud clothing so everyone can always tell when you’re moving. Something like corduroy pants, a windbreaker or a cowbell.
I found my old TomTom GPS in a box last year. I struggled to find a reason it might be worth keeping. In the end it got recycled.

I found a book that dives into the details of when it is and isn’t worth making things from scratch.
It’s called Make the Bread, Buy the Butter.
Honestly, I haven’t read it yet. I bought it and let my mom borrow it immediately, but when I get it back I think it will an interesting read.
Fairly consistently: 3D printing, wood working, amateur radio, RC cars, and cooking.
Also playing with: sewing, tablet weaving, lifting weights, and guitar.

As a subset of this, the fact that carburators worked as well as they did, until we had the technology to invent the simpler fuel injector, I think is pretty cool.
