So let me come up with another analogy:

Also, the analogy does not apply to an undamaged painting. A painting that can be viewed cannot be inproved function wise. Although I am all for derivate work of that painting. For exmple in another medium.

It’s similar to console hacking. If there is no known exploit, the device is not yours. LG patched the exploit that made that possible for my smart TV and know I need to wait for another to be doscovered. Unfortunately the Smart TV hacking community is not that active.

Obviously you can do a SEPA transfer as well, but it’s not instant and you have to type a long number and don’t have a consistently good user experience. Bank apps lack good UX. Stuff like “send this friend 5 bucks again, this is his profile picture” and are a pain to log into.

I don’t say I like paypal or banks, i actually dont like either. But paypal is just more convenient.

How do you send money to friends or businesses with credit card? Is there a paypal card which has your login information printed on it?

You haven’t tried compiling unreal engine or clicking too often on subsurface subdivision in Blender. But yeah you don’t need it for playing games.
