yeah im imaginging their torrid love affair, and gentle growing old together. trying to decide which one dies slowly of an incurable illness while the other loses his mind to dementia. or maybe at like age 70 they’re the only survivors of a plane crash, and both end up dying, though not at the same time, in a far-distant survival situation they both know they’re not making it out of alive, and just try to have as much time together as possible?
