      No point in going all cloak and dagger about it. Just go straight to HR and report them. Make them decide if they want that liability. Let them ruin their own lives.

      This isn’t about revenge, this is about not having to work in a hostile work environment. This is about you and your sane colleagues not having to put up with this shit on top of the shit you have to deal with at work. I have zero tolerance for this kind of stuff. somebody says something fucked up at work, they usually get one polite warning from me that I don’t wanna hear it again. After that I let HR or upper level management deal with it.

        Not every workplace has HR. And in many cases, the offender may be your superior.

          You always have a boss. If not, then you’re the person who has to deal with this directly. They never said it was a superior, so we should operate under the assumption they aren’t reporting to this person.
