Block all JavaScript. I know, it’s annoying to manually allow-list scripts but the alternative is more annoying.

My top tools are NoScript for Firefox mobile, uMatrix for Firefox desktop.

        Web browser.

Please change your link. This is an autism comm. People have AV sensitivities.

Edit: to clarify please remove the embed link in your post as it auto plays for those using browser who want to read or make comments. Keep the article so people can discuss it’s merits if they choose.

Sorry but if you don’t like autoplay, it’s your responsibility to disable that on your device. Here’s how to do it in firefox:

          1. Open Firefox.

          2. Go to Settings:

            • Click the menu button (three horizontal lines in the top-right).
            • Select Settings (or Preferences on macOS/Linux).
          3. In the left sidebar, select Privacy & Security.

          4. Scroll down to the Permissions section.

          5. Next to Autoplay, click Settings.

          6. Change the dropdown at the top to Block Audio and Video.

          7. Click Save Changes.
